I love having a lot of hair choices so that every sim can be unique with their own flair of style. Although some hairs might only be used for special occasions (thus, formal wear). I do love that in the sims 3, every outfit can have a different hairstyle, if one so wishes. Although having a long haired sim suddenly have long hair is a little odd... unless one just pretends its hair extensions.
